Terms and Conditions for The Kind Wash



  1. Acceptance of Terms
    By using the services provided by The Kind Wash, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please refrain from using our services.
  2. Service Description
    The Kind Wash offers professional shoe cleaning and baby gear cleaning services. Customers can choose from various packages and add-on services.
  3. Booking and Payment
    1. To avail of our services, customers must book services through our website only.
    2. Payment must be made in advance through our secure payment gateway.
    3. Cancellations and refunds are subject to our cancellation policy, as outlined in Section 5.
  4. Service Execution
    1. The Kind Wash will make reasonable efforts to provide the services as described. However, we do not guarantee the removal of all stains or damages.
      b. Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the type of items sent and their condition.
  5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
    1.  Cancellations made 3 working days before the scheduled appointment will be eligible for a full refund.
    2. Cancellations made after the specified time frame will not be eligible for a refund.
  6. Damaged Products
    1. The Kind Wash acknowledges that the shoes/baby gear submitted for cleaning are used and may have pre-existing wear, tear, or damages. While we take utmost care during the cleaning process, certain damages, such as weakened materials or loose stitching, may become more apparent or exacerbated.
    2. Our cleaning process involves standard industry practices, and we cannot guarantee that shoes/baby gear will be restored to their original condition.
    3. The Kind Wash is not liable for any damages that were present before the cleaning service or damages that become more noticeable as a result of the cleaning process. In the event that our cleaning process causes damage to the shoes beyond normal expectations, The Kind Wash will, at its discretion, either offer a partial refund or provide a credit for future services. Total compensation value will be up to two times the paid service fee.
    4. Customers must report such damages within 24 hours of receiving the cleaned shoes, accompanied by clear photographic evidence.
    5. Customers need to communicate any specific concerns about potential vulnerabilities in their shoes/baby gear before the cleaning process begins, allowing The Kind Wash to take additional precautions where possible.
  7. Liability
    The Kind Wash is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries that occur during or as a result of the shoe/baby gear cleaning service, except in cases of proven negligence.
  8. Customer Responsibilities
    1. Customers must remove any valuables or personal items from their shoes/baby gear before submitting them for cleaning. Personal items include shoe bags and covers for baby gear.
    2. Customers are responsible for checking their items upon return and reporting any issues within 24 hours of receiving the cleaned items.
    3. Customers must choose the correct type of service; The Kind Wash will not be liable for any damages if a different type of service than recommended is chosen (e.g., choosing non-leather shoe wash for branded/limited edition shoes). The Kind Wash reserves the right to decline service if deemed high-risk; only the service fee will be refunded (delivery fee will not be refunded).
  9. Delivery
    1. Changes to delivery must be requested at least 2 working days before the delivery date (pick up/return). The Kind Wash reserves the right to charge additional delivery charges for last-minute changes due to additional costs incurred.
    2. Failed delivery will be considered if the delivery team attempts to enter the premise with no success for 30 minutes.
    3. Customers residing in locations with tight security (e.g., condos, hotels, service apartments) must inform The Kind Wash in advance.
  10. Privacy Policy
    The Kind Wash respects the privacy of its customers. Our privacy policy details how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
  11. Changes to Terms and Conditions
    The Kind Wash reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes.


Details on Service Execution

  1. Booking Confirmation:
    • Upon successful payment, customers will receive a booking confirmation via email or text message, including the scheduled date and time for the shoe cleaning service.
  2. Preparation of Shoes:
    • Customers are responsible for removing any valuables, personal items, or loose accessories from their shoes before submitting them for cleaning. The Kind Wash will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged items that were not removed.
  3. Service Process:
    • Our professional staff will inspect the shoes upon receipt to assess the type of material, existing stains, and overall condition.
    • Shoes will undergo a thorough cleaning process using industry-standard cleaning agents and equipment.
    • We strive to return the shoes in the best possible condition; however, it is important to note that not all stains or damages may be completely removed.
  4. Quality Check:
    • After the cleaning process, shoes will undergo a quality check to ensure that the requested services have been performed to our high standards.
  5. Communication During Service:
    • In the event of unforeseen issues or challenges during the cleaning process, The Kind Wash will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer and seek their input before proceeding with any additional or alternative services.
  6. Completion and Return:
    • Cleaned shoes will be carefully packaged and returned to the customer at the specified location or through the chosen delivery method.
    • Customers are advised to inspect their shoes upon receipt and report any concerns within [number of hours/days] of receiving the cleaned shoes.
  7. Unclaimed Items:
    • Shoes that are not claimed within [number of days] of the scheduled return date may be subject to storage fees. The Kind Wash reserves the right to dispose of unclaimed items if not collected within a reasonable period.

    • While The Kind Wash employs professional cleaning techniques, some stains or damages may be permanent or may require specialized services beyond the scope of our standard offerings. We do not guarantee the removal of all stains or damages.

    • We welcome customer feedback to continuously improve our services. Customers are encouraged to provide feedback through our website, app, or customer service channels.
